Trouble on Hakim’s Farm

Abstract
The party was hired by Madam Mor to investigate livestock attacks on Hakim’s farm in the Sassanid Empire. They tracked a large creature to an oasis where they were ambushed by two teleporting, poison-fog-generating lynxes. After a difficult battle, they defeated the creatures, destroyed the magical runes causing the fog, and returned to the farm with a specimen. They learned the creatures might originate from the Foglands.

- Found a communication rune left by the Aether Wing captain that read “Return to me.”

What is this rune? Is it from the aether wings? They also spotted a sandworm rider, is it from them?

- After a difficult battle, the party destroyed the runes, dispelled the fog, and defeated the lynxes.
- Returned to Hakim, who identified the creatures as mutated predators possibly from the “Unexplored Lands” beyond the Shogunate’s border wall.
