Abstract

Following a dream from Ashmedai, the party explored the non-linear Wizard tower of Zakhad to find his personal chambers. After navigating various rooms and defeating a powerful golem, the Alluum defender, they reached their goal. Inside, they found the required ring, a sentient grimoire, and a talisman, uncovering Zakhad’s obsession with obtaining divinity.

  • Dream sequence, big table featuring Ashmedai
  • Go to The Wizard tower of Zakhad, find his “personal chambers”
    • Rooms dont connect normally. going back trough a door you went trough does not mean you will be back in the original room.
    • Glyph at the entrance that only activates with his ring, get the ring.
  • Went through a fairly non-linear room structure
    • 4 doors with glyphs
    • An “art alleyway” with 4 doors
      • The bust artworks seem to from the Era of Unity
      • has a little tear in the plane of reality
    • Golem workshop with a big golem ready but seemingly inactive.
    • the mirror maze room
      • Ambushed by Ghosts
    • Sewers with glowy magic residue
    • Cosy Magic Living room with trapdoor
    • Domed room with large magical clockwork mechanism that is pumping magical fluid. Powers a golem ‘forever’ meaning the golem cant die unless this mechanism is turned off.
    • (going back) Big hallway with pillars and a large door guarded by the same big golem
      • Combat (killed the big golem, Alluum defender), had magic resistence to everything.
    • cozy bedroom (goal) with:
      • the ring we’re looking for
      • grimoire, very old and hasn’t been touched in a looong while. (sentient?)
      • Zakhad was obsessed with obtaining divinity, most things here are in Empyrean
      • Talisman, creates rifts in dimensions?

Explored route

Forwards in the starting room. then left at the 4 doors to the ‘art alleyway’. then kept going forwards until end of dungeon.

Warning

Disable the heart room next time you see it so the golem doesn’t respawn.
