Unholy Labyrinth (Floor 1)

Abstract

Renkar, having heard of a labyrinth north of Wamerwick, called the Unholy Labyrinth wished to explore the ruins. After gathering a crew they set out to Wamerwick, there they hired a taxi service to dive them near the labyrinth. After an altercation with some plant-like creatures, they successfully managed to clear the first floor before finding a doorway leading downwards to lower levels. Here the party decided to turn back and head home.

Notes

  • We arrived in Wamerwick after gathering our party

  • After shopping around we go look for renting some horses/cart.

    • We are greeted by a Halfling gentleman
    • They can provide a taxi service to us to the Labyrinth for 3cp/pp per mym . Having them wait on use will warrant a deposit.
    • Kindy Renkar offers to pay the deposit for everyone. Both Selvarin Amar and Tom. pay their own share.
  • It takes one hour to travel to a point near the Unholy Labyrinth. The diver cannot go further as it is in the forest.

    • During the trip to the labyrinth, we pass by Midas. He looked at us expectantly. However we chose to continue on.
    • With Selvarin Amar taking the lead traversing trough the forest we arrive at the place around late afternoon.
  • At the labyrinth the hedges have guard post that appear to be looking inwards.

    • At one of the towers there is a broken archway with glyphs on it. However one of the glyphs has a specific symbol ɸ

    • Rogolas and Tom. work it out that the glyphs are an Electrical Rune trap, shocking anything that where to pass trough it.

    • After a while of going back and forth on how to deal with this. David Vritz manged to disable the trap

  • While walking in the spiral pathway towards the middle we encounter two small plant-like creatures.

    • Near where the appeared from is a magical Bell plant, that radiates faint with magic. If one where to cast magic near it the plan were to absorb it.
    • The plant and plant-creatures are unrelated from one another.
    • One of the plants critically injures Smidge, causing Selvarin Amar to do down.
    • Blows are being trade back and forth with David Vritz managing to kill the first plant, while Renkar puts end to the battle by delivering the final blow to the remaining plant.
  • At the centre of the Labyrinth there is a double door with scripture written above it

    • sɪɸuɭːə is a compound word made with 2x a normal word and 1 conjugated word
    • Text and tomb appears to be from before the Sythian Age
  • While going back to the cart we encounter some ghost. Taking stealth as an approached they did not spot us but the seemed to be afraid of something before disintegrating

    • David Vritz, with his Darkvision manged to spot that it was a humanoid creatures but as unable to disarm anything else.

Midas has been spotted twice near the Wamic Pond. Might be interesting to see what he want.
