The Craft downtime activity used in The Void is a variation of the RAW one.
- Choose 1 common item, or an uncommon/rare item to which you have obtained the formula.
- Make sure you have the appropriate feats to craft the item:
- You must be Trained in Crafting
- You might need Alchemical Crafting or Magical Crafting
- You must spend half of the item’s price in materials to craft the item
- Roll the craft check:
Critical Success Your attempt is successful. You only use half of the materials needed to craft the item. (You can sell the materials and get 1/4 of the item’s price back) Success Your attempt is successful. You craft the item using the materials bought. Failure You fail to complete the item. You can salvage the raw materials you supplied for their full value. If you want to try again, you must do so in a different session. Critical Failure You fail to complete the item. All materials are lost.
Typical DCs1 for items are the following, however the GM might rule otherwise.

Consumables and Ammunition
You can Craft items with the consumable trait in batches, making up to four of the same item at once with a single check. This requires you to include the raw materials for all the items in the batch at the start, and you must complete the batch all at once. You also Craft non-magical ammunition in batches, using the quantity listed in the Ranged Weapons Table (typically 10).
