A man who focuses solely on war will eventually lose himself in battle, as General Krieg continues to prove. Yet we have seen that you are capable of looking beyond the battlefield and recognizing what truly matters. However, a person’s image and actions can differ greatly. Aid us in dealing with the river creatures harassing the citizens of Loran, and we will begin aiding you in turn.

On our journey from the capital Kalogeron to Loran, where our mission was, we had an encounter with a big creature that made big, loud noises. The creature created a kind of eye of the storm in the sky. One of our party members saw a huge wing, so we booked it to the forest.
After this encounter, we came across a solo traveller named Irelion. After sharing some food, he left without notice. The next morning, he said he had private business in Cliford. The day after, we felt blessed.
But luck was not with us. We were surrounded by weird-sounding wolves. A discussion with the party made two of our horses buck. Cody Smuff and I, Silas Embergrin, went after Rolic, who was hanging to the side of his horse. Grank Rockdash rode after Solstice, whose horse also got spooked. Matrim was left alone with the wolves, which ended up killing her horse, but she managed to get away safely herself.
Upon our late arrival in Loran, our party found the person who gave us the quest. He was a man with dreadlocks, a robe, and long ears, and he was from the Peoples Eye, talking to a babushka.
He requested us to fight off some creatures. While I was getting grabbed, the others took care of one of the three water creatures. The second was struck down by a spell from Solstice, and I threw a bomb at the one holding me. Solstice later killed this one too.
Notes about the creatures: They had a restricting area around them of around 25 feet² and had an attack that could hit anyone standing in a straight line with each other. They were also resistant to all physical attacks.
