The Joven brothers, a small business that for a while was one of the only shipment companies on the east side of the mountains has recently fallen on hard times. The Roadside ambushers making their shipments too risky to do. Kesefeon Joven has recently lost quite a large cargo shipment, its contents of great importance for higher ups within Zaknahir. The thieves cannot have gotten far with the contents yet. The contents could go bad if not attended to soon, something the thieves presumably are unaware of. The Convoy, wanting to keep its rerputation within the Zakna region would appreciate the help of any and all capable adventurers.

Abstract

The Void was tasked by the Joven Brothers to find a lost trade cart that contains high value cargo. Mission succes.

Necromancy and skeletons are heavily frowned upon.

  • learned in the local Guild we should talk to Roland
  • Talking to Roland Garros
    • We learned the ambush had happend 5 days before our arrival
    • 1 day worth of travel NE
    • after some prying we got some more details about the cargo
      • the cargo is alive & frozen
      • The cart has a rune in front to keep the cargo frozen
  • The hunt for the bandits
    • Tried to set a counter ambush on a popular ambush location.
      • Didn't have any effect
    • During the night some party members saw smoke in the distance
      • (hit me up if you want your name here)
      • this smoke was a bandit camp with the cart we were looking for
    • We decided to ambush them during the night
  • The Ambush
    • Lots of traps surrounding the area
      • bandits are not stupid here
    • When we went on the full assault they started targetting the cart with fire instead of us
      • this resulted in the cart starting to thawn
    • The cart itself started to break and from inside the cart came a huge tentacle lashing out
      • We ordered all our spell casters to freeze the cart again
    • After the ambush succeeded we returned with the cart keeping it frozen along the way.

The wagon has been safely brought back to the Joven Brothers and they wish to express their gratitude if they would ever see you guys around. Despite the damage to the right side of the wagon is a setback, but a small price to pay to get the wagon and cargo back. Scout's have been sent to the location of your altercation, but i fear whatever will be found. Not only have these bandits started to become more organized, if what happened rings trough after examination it means they have someone within their group capable of high quality body enhancements. There may be a student or professor of Khal colluding with these bandits. Without any proof however i doubt the university will let us conduct any research on the matter. Efforts to exterminate their presence will be increased. 5 less bandits to deal with is a good start, for that you have my thanks aswell.
