Death & Resurrection

Abstract

In The Void, death is not always the end. Powerful beings and rituals can bring fallen adventurers back from the beyond, for a price.

Pathfinder 2e

• Ritual: The Resurrect and Reincarnate rituals are common knowledge for characters of Level 5 and higher.
• Location: Resurrections must be performed exclusively within The Void.

Dungeons & Dragons

In D&D, resurrection involves a revival fee based on the difficulty of the task and the character’s history.

Revival Fee Formula

$$Fee=\text{Material Cost}+(Level\times 100\text{ gp})+(50\text{ gp}\times 2^{\text{deaths}})$$

Example (First Death at Level 8):

• Raise Dead (500 gp) + Level 8 (800 gp) + First death (100 gp) = 1400 gp
