event Sythian The Void sent people to establish a portal connection in Thetford. They were quested by Lord Korwin MacLeod to transport a messenger ( read his puppy with a love letter) to an ambassador from Nosia. Later know as his lover.
the party encountered a militia ambush. They wanted to steal the puppy since they thought it was to extra to send an entire convoy for jus tone puppy with the peoples money.
The Ambush was quickly eliminated and the convoy arrived intact.
